Religious of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ)

This project aims to protect the water sources of two creeks and a river which supply the local population. Santa Leticia is a rural area with a campesino and indigenous population. The project benefits the health of villagers, improves the environment and it raises awareness of care for our common home. Activities include coordinating a group of 12 women from the town to train and network with recycling groups of La Plata; they organise activities to create solutions for the management of waste and organic fertilisers in the care of water sources; they are constructing a recycling park; they educate and raise awareness in activities in school to counter diseases, bad odours and insects.
